クマ合同訓練キャンプ/Weekend Overnight Camping with a Bear Cub Scout
【１】活動内容：訓練キャンプ
【２】活動場所：わくわくの郷（わんぱくサイト） (N34.827407,E135.509845)
【３】活動日：平成26年３月２２日（土曜日）～２３日（日曜日）
【４】集合場所と時間：美和遊園　午前９時
【５】解散場所と時間：美和遊園　午後４時
【６】持ち物：
(1)1泊２日のキャンプに必要な個人装備
(2)昼食、お茶、米２合、牛乳パック２箱
【７】その他：
(1)20秒程度の自己紹介ができるように。
(2)計画書の提出が求められているスカウトは、計画書を提出すること。

※下記の“【９】活動報告”に示すとおり、英国スカウトとの国際交流の機会を得ました。そのため、試験的に簡単な英語を明記しています。
*As mentioning below “[9] Activity Report”, we got a great opportunity to have an international relations with England scouts. Therefore, the simple sentences in English are indicated, experimentally.

[4] Appointed Place and Time: Miwa Play Park 9:00
[5] Broke up Place and Time: Miwa Play Park 16:00
[6] Equipment:
(1)Personal gear and clothing: due to overnight camping
(2)Packed lunch, green tea, two go (300gr) rice, and two milk cartons
[7] Others:
(1)Prepare self-introduction about 20 seconds
(2)Submit a plan, ONLY, the scouts who are required the plan.
[8]Attendees: 14 scouts/18 scouts (Total)

[9]Activity Report
今年度（9月から）、スカウトは既に2回の訓練キャンプを経験しており、今回は進級に向けたキャンプを目的としています。
In this calendar year from September, scouts already experienced the weekend overnight camping twice, so this camp is aimed to get the advanced rank requirements.

(1)隊備品と班備品を確認後に出発
(1)Departure after checking troop and patrol equipment
*It takes about 40 minutes to get the camp site by using train and walking.

* Nowadays, the dome style tents are commonly used.
(3)セレモニー・上進隊発足式

一人のカブスカウト(クマ)が参加
During this weekend overnight camping, one bear cub scout was attended. In Japan, the bear cub scout is the highest rank among squirrel, rabbit, deer, and bear

*Commonly, Onigiri, Rice Ball: often triangular sometimes with a filling and wrapped in laver.

(5) Built up a kitchen hearth


 
* During camping, this kitchen hearth is typical Japanese style by using firewood.
6)見習いスカウトを初級スカウトへ
(6) Challenged a tenderfoot scout rank requirements due to the youngest scouts.
上級スカウトが見習いスカウトへ指導。上級スカウトにはリーダーシップとスキルが要求されます。
The older scouts led and taught the rest of the youngest scouts. It is necessary for the older scouts to have skills and leadership.

(7)Wrote a letter in English for England Scouts
小学生に対しては、中学生のスカウトが支援。
The scouts, junior high school students, assisted the rest of scouts, elementally school students.
* We speak/write English as a second language. In addition, we, Japanese, study English from junior high school. Therefore, our some scouts, who are junior high school student, have studied English for only one or two year(s). In other words, the rest of scouts, who are elementally school students, have not studied English yet.

限られた時間の中で、多くのプログラムを実施しました。４月は夜間ハイク、5月はサイクリングを計画しています。グリンバーにスカウトには、近いうちに班ハイクを計画し実施に期待します。
Within a limited time, we could achieve many activities. The activities of the night hiking on April and the cycling trip on May have been planned. In addition, it is expected the green bar scouts that the patrol own hiking might be planed and done as soon as possible.
